Energies: Haines & Hinterding :: Exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney :: 25 June – 6 September 2015 David Haines and Joyce Hinterding are the subject of a retrospective exhibition at the MCA. Their collaborative practice incorporates experimental and traditional media to investigate Hinterding’s fascination with energetic forces and Haines’ attraction to the intersection of hallucination and the environment. This exhibition is the first comprehensive survey of their work and includes a number of key collaborative projects, solo works by both artists, and a new commission. |

Congratulations to Nola Farman :: Recipient of the 2015 Darling Foundry Residency ANAT would like to congratulate artist and former ANAT Synapse Residency recipient Nola Farman, who has been awarded the 2015 NSW Visual Artist Residency at the Darling Foundry in Montreal, Canada. Nola’s Darling Foundry project, The Ministry for the Future of Art, takes an ironic yet critical view of the current state of art in western cultures. |

Chris Henschke Exhibition Potential Objects at Tinning Street Gallery, Brunswick, Melbourne :: 9 – 19 April 2015 Potential Objects is a collection of mixed media artworks inspired by Henschke’s art@CMS artist in residence program at the Large Hadron Collider, and the ANAT supported Synapse residency at the Australian Synchrotron. Through charged and unexpected combinations of everyday objects with new and obsolete scientific and technical devices, the artworks play with energy, materiality, and our relationships with technology. |

Mari Velonaki – One of Robohub’s Women in Robotics you should know about! ANAT congratulates Mari Velonaki, who has been named by Robohub as one of the top 25 women to watch in the field of Robotics. Mari has a long association with ANAT, including her ARC Linkage Grant Residency at the Centre for Field Robotics at the University of Sydney. Mari was also previously a member of ANAT’s Programming Sub Committee. |

Ken & Julia Yonetani Exhibition in France
Ken & Julia Yonetani’s first solo exhibition in France is at the Abbaye de Maubuisson in Val d’Oise from 26 November 2014 – 30 August 2015. The exhibition will include their Crystal Palace and Last Supper series. |
